LOVE IT!, May 5, 2010
I was nervous about spending the money on this pillow, but it has been a godsend! I bought it when I was about 6 months pregnant and now I'm 8 1/2 months. I can't sleep without this thing and I plan on continuing to use it after the baby comes because it's so comfy. I think I love this pillow so much because I like to cuddle and be surrounded. So this pillow may not be for someone who needs their space.
A necessity!, May 4, 2010
I'm 26 weeks pregnant with twins, and this pillow is the ONLY reason I'm getting any sleep! I am normally a back sleeper, but since my doc says I have to sleep on my side, this pillow has been a lifesaver. I don't even need any other pillows to sleep with, which is nice that I don't have to keep re-situating lots of pillows whenever I turn over at night.
It's comfy and supportive, and you can sleep with it several ways (also makes a good back support when I'm sitting up in bed, reading or watching TV). I like that it comes with an instruction card that has diagrams of all the different ways to use it. My only complaint is that the material can pill a little bit. I have a feeling you could remedy this by purchasing a nicer cover for it from the same company - I've read good reviews of the organic cotton cover. But at least you can also take off the cover that comes with it and wash it when needed.
Otherwise, this is a must-have for preggo ladies who need some help sleeping comfortably! I would (and do) definitely recommend this to all my friends.
I Couldn't Sleep Without It!, April 30, 2010
I absolutely love this pillow. I'm currently 25 weeks pregnant and I bought this when I was 20 weeks pregnant. Since my belly seems to be doubling in size I appreciate the support this pillow offers every night. If I hadn't bought this pillow, I would have the typical pregnancy sleep issues, but this takes it all away.
For those people who had a problem with the material must either be allergic, or raised with 5000 thread count pillow cases, because the pillow just feels like a normal pillow case. It's not "hard" or "scratchy" at all.
Pros: I have hardly any backaches during the day (a problem I had pre-pregnancy)
It offers belly support, you just need to bring the feet part up to your belly (that's if you face the hook and your back is against the body of the pillow)
I am always comfortable, no matter what position I'm in
Cons: I can't cuddle with my hubby, but with my belly getting bigger daily, I don't see that being the main cause of not snuggling
Sleeping on the edge of the bed with the covers hanging off the bed, the pillow tends to steal the covers sometimes, but if i tuck it behind my back (against the body) I don't have that problem.
I hope this helps!
great pillow, April 17, 2010
I got this pillow early on in my pregnancy in the 10th week and so far I think it was a great purchase. It makes sleeping on the side so much easier and comfortable.
Sizewise it works fine even in a queensize bed.
