This pedometer will keep you motivated to continue to strive for 10,000 steps and more. Having the accurate time on it also is beneficial. No need to wear a wrist watch. This is my second pedometer. Previous one was not accurate at all. Very difficult to monitor steps walked. This monitor resets itself at midnight to be ready for the next days walk. Very nice.
Great item!, May 4, 2010
I have never used a pedometer before because I don't really walk for exercise, I do traditional aerobics with weights. But as I have gotten older and have experienced back issues, I have had to tone down some of my workouts and include less high impact activities. I was also curious how many calories I was burning a day outside of my workouts. I love the features of this pedometer. It is very sensitive and picks up steps no matter how I use it. I usually put it in my pocket and it never misses a step. It is very small so it fits well in a pocket. Some people have complained about the clip and that it falls off of belts. I have never worn it on a belt, so I can't speak to that. I like how the aerobic step feature works and how I can go back for seven days and check my workouts. We recently took a trip to D.C. and just for fun I decided to wear the pedometer during our days exploring D.C. We walked 20.6 miles in the 3 days we walked around D.C. This pedometer does everything it is supposed to and is very light and small. I love it.
Can't believe it survived my washing machine., May 3, 2010
I was carrying my pedometer in my pocket to see how close I was to the 10,000 steps a day recommendation. That was an eye-opener! I thought I was an active person but I wasn't even close. Anyway, the third day I used it, I didn't even notice that it was still in my pocket when I threw my jeans in the washer. I was sick that I'd ruined it so soon. I unscrewed the back cover, took out the battery and left everything to dry for a couple days. I could hardly believe it when I put it back together and it worked fine. Needless to say, I won't be doing that again. Set-up is easy, just don't try to do it in a hurry. You need to have enough time to measure and enter an accurate stride length.
Easy to use and works excellent, May 2, 2010
This is the only pedometer that I have used so I dont know if that makes me a good source or not but I found that it was very easy to use and for fun, we tested it and found it to be accurate. It also seems pretty durable since I dropped it a few times and it still works :>
