This is a truck a kid can really play rough with--sand, dirt, rocks--it can take a beating. It's stronger and more durable than I could have imagined. Could not be more satisfied with this purchase, and it was incredibly reasonable at only $[...].

When I was a kid and asked for a Tonka truck for my birthday, this is what I had in mind. A big yellow truck that could haul stuff. Now, I don't remember if this particular truck was around way back when, but I'm glad Tonka continues to make awesome big toys like this at a reasonable cost. This truck gets played with a lot at the house, and when its cleanup time, it is pushed around and used to hold all the other toys picked up from the floor. It's so awesome, all kids should have at least one.

This truck gets a lot of use by my two year...he recieved it as a gift last year on his first birthday from his grandparents. At first I didn't give it to him to play with because I was concerned with the sharp steel edges but it never was a problem because he wasn't to rough with it. He only wanted to sit in it and be pushed around by his older sister. I did not rate this high in educational value because I don't feel that it is an educational tool in any fashion other than enhancing their motor skills. I didn't feel I could give it a 5 in overall satisfaction with the toy because of the sharp edges. However, both my kids enjoy the toy and it doesn't matter if it for a boy or a girl...they love playing with it.

Bought this truck for my 2 year old's birthday. He has yet to play outside with it, but he will come spring. My kids sit in the box of it and push eachother around the house! My 6 yr old daughter really enjoys it, almost as much as my son:) Good buy! I would recommend this toy to anyone who has kids, girls or boys!
