Great and cheap product!, May 4, 2010

I've had it for a couple of months, and it's a really cheap little product... and works just fine. No need to spend hundreds on any other HDMI cables. I bought this one for about $3 with free shipping (and that's all I bought). It shipped to my home within a few days and I plugged it into my laptop. It works. I barely use it though, because I just haven't had more of a time to experiment with it. For the most part, its great!

When we purchased our new TV a couple of months ago, I purchased expensive Phillips HDMI cables (x2) for about $40 each. The picture was beautiful and crisp as was the sound, but I hated that I spent about $90 for TV cables. I felt it was a rip off. So I decided to read some reviews of a cheaper version and was thrilled that not only could I get a cable for $2.50 a pop, but they received such astounding reviews. I figured for this price, it was worth trying at least. Perhaps this cable has received such good reviews only because it was the first cable purchased and the reviewers had nothing else to compare it to, or perhaps it works better on a 60 Hz TV and doesn't support the 120 Hz HDTV's, I don't know... But I feel that since I purchased such an expensive TV and since I pay for HD service through my satellite company, I am going to chuck these to the garage sale pile and go out and buy the more expensive cables and get the brilliant, vivid picture. After all, that is why I bought this TV. Really, for $2.50, you might be like me and want to just give them a shot to see if it works for you. Perhaps you'll be like the majority here and love the quality. Unfortunately, I did not.

Great product, arrived fairly quickly. Tracking information was strange, stated it was already in my city, but I didn't receive it for two whole days. Could have been Amazon or SF Planet. Other than that, minimal packaging. Cable appears to be high quality. Great buy for the price. Currently using it for a secondary HD 20" monitor for my HP Pavilion laptop. I would high recommend this product. We'll see how long it lasts.

Pros: The cables work, ordered two. Cons: None so far. Ordered the cables based on price, but you might prefer something different for quality, do not get me wrong the quality of the cables are good, but if you are a cable buff you might prefer something else. Found a cheaper cable, but available was only one, and I wanted two of the same.
