You can't beat the price on these vacuum bags, April 20, 2010

We have a Hoover Tempo vacuum and were looking for some Type Y replacement bags. I found these bags on Amazon and was amazed by the very good price so I took a chance and ordered some. The bags arrived as promised and appeared to be robust and well made. They fit the Tempo vacuum perfectly as well. After using them for some time my wife, the vacuuming engineer, reports they are "just fine" and comparable to the more expensive bags we had been using. We will be re-ordering these bags when needed. When it comes to finances, I believe every bit of savings helps and we did save money by buying these bags.

i was looking for a vaccum for very long time, then my friend suggested me this vaccum and i read its reviews on amazon...most of the ppl were satisfied with the product and i wanted something reasonable then i thot of giving it a try... m very happy with this product as its worth the price.. m using it for last 6 months and its doing its job preety well... if u r looking for first vaccum give it a try u wont b disappointed..

I have not used this bag yet, but I can tell you it looks NOTHING like the original bag that comes with the Hoover vacuum. It is paper versus what appears to be cloth. It is much smaller. It may still be a good deal, given the price difference, but it is not "comparable" in my mind. It would be nice if Amazon paired up the vacuums with the bags for easy selection, too. I found that very confusing when ordering as all sorts of different bags and other accessories came up when searching.

Look, to tone down those who say that the bag is not HEPA, 'reality check' nowhere on the bag does it say HEPA. I have used these bags and for the price they are great. As one reviewer states "It's good to have inexpensive cloth instead of the paper" AMEN. I just finished using my almost new Hoover Tempo Widepath U5140-900 (on sale $59 excellent value)to clean the fine remaining ash in my fireplace, my previous bag would have allowed the fine particles to escape... this bag did not - Kudos! For the money, Highly Recommended.
