I picked this vacuum because it was #8 on the top 10 vacuums of Consumer's Choice of 2009. Also it was the most affordable. Less than $100. There is an instant noticable change in the texture of the carpets on the first run. It seemed fluffier and softer. Carpets looked fresh. Also works well on tile and hardwood floors. The item itself looks toylike with the baby blue color. Overall it does just as good of a job compaired to $200 vacuums.

A very simple, light and powerful vacuum. It is excellent for the cost and works well with pet hair.

Affordable though it may be, this little vacuum cleans my carpet extraordinarily well, and we have two messy toddlers. I was actually surprised by how much cleaner it got my floor than my other lightweight Hoover vac. And yes, my housecleaner even complimented me on it because she used it on my carpet. Very happy with this purchase!

Just got my Tempo delivered today and my carpeted stairs are truly clean in a long while! Was really easy to assemble and I love all the on-board tools. Amazon had the lowest advertised price compared to Walmart, Kmart or Sears, so really good value.
