I actually own six 16GB Transcend SDHC cards. These are class 6 and very fast. They work well in my digital cameras - I have several - and as stand alone mini storage devices. Competitive pricing on this card is very good at about $40 or $50 with the card reader included. The capacity is always far more than I need but I never have to think about running out of space after taking a thousand or so shots and a few videos as well. The card will hold more than 3,000 photos taken at full resolution on a 12 mega-pixel camera. Over kill on capacity and I like that a lot.

I read about the packaging alternatives Amazon now offers on some items and that's fantastic in my book because some items are very difficult to open when locked up in plastic. That is fine for a retail store but buying online we don't need all those security methods. This memory card is an 8 GB plus class 6 making it fast! The little reader allows me to just plug it into my computer without special software installed. Great package!
