Nice quality camera, April 16, 2010

I bought the light blue camera for a friend for their birthday and they loved it. The quality of the images comes out very clean. Especially in comparison to my Casio Exilim which is very picky with the slightest bit of motion. I must admit, I am a little jealous. Feels very solid and sturdy. Canon makes great quality cameras. I would recommend.

While I love the quality of pictures from my SLR its just too big to carry around easily. The Canon PowerShot fits easily in my pocket (even in the separate case I purchased) and is great for fast photos, especially with on-the-go kids. The ability to take multiple pictures in a row is still not great with these little point and shoots so I'll defer to my expensive SLR for catching those blow out the candle shots at birthday parties (we had a previous Canon PowerShot/Elphy for about 4 years before it died and it was more expensive to fix than to replace). Overall the PowerShot SD1100IS is a solid camera that is easy to use (so easy we purchased one for our 9 year old and he loves it).

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT, THE SPECIAL FEATURES ARE WHAT MADE ME DECIDE ON THIS MODEL AND I WAS NOT DISAPOINTED THE MORE I USE IT THE MORE I LOVE IT. MEMORY STICK WAS KIND OF SMALL SO I PURCHASE A MUCH LARGER ONE AND EXTRA BATTERY FOR VACATIONS. THE SLIDER BUTTON FOR CHOOSING CAMERA,VIDE,PLAY IS KIND OF CHEAP BUT. I LOVE THE FEATURES.

Very good camera, canon digital, takes great pictures!!! Easy to use and handle. Good size and cool appearance.
