Great pack of wooden puzzles, December 7, 2009

I purchased a few sets of these in a brick and mortar, but wanted to add my review here in case it helps others out. The difficulty spread here is pretty good, from puzzles that should take a few minutes to those that might take you hours to figure out. They're well suited for young adults onward (small pieces, so not ideal for young kids). All the pieces are made well and are quite durable, so no need to worry about wearing them out or damaging them while trying to solve the puzzles. As others have mentioned, these are very nice puzzles just to look at. They are very, very well made and the quality on them (and the box) is simply excellent. An extremely good value for the money and something you can hang on to for a great number of years. Definitely something you can have fun with on a game night or whenever you just want to exercise your brain a bit. Replay value is pretty good too. I highly recommend these if you're interested in wood puzzles, or think you might want to try them. There's a good selection of some classics here and it's a great starter set. I've given these as gifts and they were very well received.

For the price, it made an excellent gift. No simplistic items & a few were a nice chalange for a bright adult. If the parts were more finely finished, it would have added a pleasing tactile sensation but then the price would have had to be quite a bit higher
