My daughter had a different brand of night vision goggles. They really didn't work. Purchased the EyeClops brand for my daughter, after she played with it at a friends. These really work. They have been dropped a few times - on a hard floor - and no harm. On a trip to Florida we went outside with them at night. WOW! We are now thinking of purchasing another pair, just because everyone wants to use them. Seeing your brother to ambush him was fun. Seeing an alligator come out of the lake . . . amazing! (Brother and alligator were not near each other!)

I purchased a pair of these night vision binoculars for my graduate research (observing insects in the dark) and I was totally impressed with the quality of these goggles considering their market implications (toys). These goggles are a lot of fun, and for the purpose of my research very affordable!

All a kid needs to know is that this crazy looking gadget really works. The downside is that it's a bit of a one-trick pony; once you've prowled around the house (or the neighborhood) a few times, the thrill begins to wear off. Still, they're working night vision goggles, and that alone is worth 4 stars.
